so last week after doing a few writing exercises (amazing! go ahead and try writing your own autobiography in 11 lines and see what comes out) we looked at 4 images from the
Special Collections Center rare books and archives at the University of Abderdeen. As part of Book Week Scotland 2013, the SCC is teaming up with the Scottish Book Trust with the Flash Fiction competition, and you should enter it too! The rules are simple: choose one of the 4 images and write a 500 word short story inspired by the image. Full details & rules
