Writing Workshop Home Work (if you wanna)
1. Choose a word. It can be anything, but the best thing is to have a word that can function as both a NOUN and a VERB. Here are some personal suggestions to get you started: carp, scrape, tape, wait, hustle, schlep, pep, weave, bowl, reason, twist, park, fly, pen
2. List your connotations to that word. (say for instance you have chose "weave". you might list connotations such as : basket, fake hair, getting through a crowd, a loom, etc etc)
3. Look at your list and see what word/phrase/connotation you are drawn to.
4. Write a story (2 pages double spaced) using your chosen word somewhere in your story
*** Further Challenge: Write a Paragraph Story from your chose connotation word in 100 words or less!
